Activision’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 retained the top spot on UK all formats chart during the week ended November 21, despite an 86 per cent drop in sales compared to its first seven days.
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed II debuted in second place, having outperformed 2007’s original by around 12 per cent in terms of unit sales, according to GfK Chart-Track.
Nintendo titles took the next three positions, with New Super Mario Bros Wii entering at number three, followed by Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus.
EA’s FIFA 10 dropped three places to sixth, one spot ahead of a new entry from the publisher, Left 4 Dead 2.
Other new titles to make the top 40 were Codemasters’ F1 2009 for Wii and PSP in eleventh, Lucasarts’ Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues at 16, The Sims 3: World Adventures at 36 and LittleBigPlanet for PSP at 38.
