The NPD Group has revealed the top ten selling console titles in the US since it began tracking sales in 1995.
Wii Play topped the list, ahead of Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Modern Warfare 2 placed fourth, followed by Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, Call Of Duty 4, Madden NFL 07, COD: World At War and Namco Museum, reports GameSpot.
Though NPD didn’t release specific sales data for each title, the company said last October that Wii Play had sold 11.1 million units in the US. GTA: San Andreas sales stood at 8.25 million units at the time and Wii Fit sales at 7.9 million. By the end of 2009 Modern Warfare 2 sales had topped 8.8 million in the US.

May Guitar Hero 3's position at #2 stand firm as the all time greatest switcheroo ever pulled -- we went from the classic that was GH2 to the miserable wannabe by an inferior developer that is GH3, forcing us to flee to the warm embrace of Rock Band.
Who'da thunk five years ago that Nintendo would dominate the top ten?
