Fable 2 was yet another example of Molyneux overselling and just plain lying about his product. It was utter trash and i will never buy another Lionhead game.
Some people seemed to really like it but i just couldn't see the attraction. The game boiled down to 'follow the gold line', thats was it, that was the entire game. And the line couldn't stream in quick enough.
Wasn't 'Bad Influence' the Andy Crane/Violet Berlin show? IIRC the SkyOne show was 'Games World'. Tuesdays was Barry's Joypad with David Walliams and was by far the best one although the presenter of the other shows (someone Mills) was quite good as well.
I must admit i always found Dominic Diamonds innuendo laced commentary quite funny. One that i always remember was, "Just remember viewers, life is like a telephone. Its great until you try to chat up someone whose engaged.".
Yeah it takes a genius to fail to copy an idea once but have to still support and manufacture it over the lifetime of their product (sixaxis). At least they've covered their bases this time by just making a straight 1:1 copy of the wiimote.
Sony's track record is hardly good in this department, remember the baterang controller which they had to ditch cause it was shit and so they stuck with the same pad Nintendo designed for them 15 years ago. How about Rumble or the (almost) entire featureset of XBox live that they have stolen, maybe achievements.
Sony do not innovate, they steal and last place in this gen is where they deserve to be.
Chris Dahlen meets the director of interactive fiction documentary Get Lamp and remembers how rich a world that only costs the time it takes to write it can be.

PS3 continues its steady and inevitable march to catch the 360 and Wii, oh wait.....
